A tale of two breakfasts…
I prefer savory breakfast over sweet, probably 95% of the time. But yesterday, I wanted something different (1). And even today was different (2) from what I’d typically enjoy for breakfast (usually an egg and toast or oatmeal or fruit and cottage cheese)
1) Cinnamon Raisin sprouted grain bread with honey tahini spread and banana (2 TB tahini and 1 tsp organic raw honey), half a banana
2) Leftover roasted winter squash and pork sausage with sage and cheddar cheese (reduced fat – still melted perfectly but won’t spike my blood glucose as much as full-fat)
