Helpful for newbies!

Bought this because my spouse is pre-diabetic and we needed to start eating low carb meals. This book is a helpful way for people that don't know much about low carb to make delicious meals with regular ingredients, and introduces you to new things that you might not have used. Like stevia, I had heard of it but never tried it before. It's really not a bad sugar substitute. I would recommend this book for anyone, but especially for people trying to learn how to make food that doesn't spike blood... view more

Lots of noms

I don't follow a ketolish meal plan or eat low carb - there's no need. Still I bought this book because I guessed there would be noms. I was not disappointed. Plenty of noms, presented in a delish an easy too cook way. Would have gotten five stars if there were more fish. Also, living outside USA - Norway to be specific- some ingredients are hard to get or not available at all. Would be great if alternative ingredients were presented! Example- Colby cheese...

Delicious!

Last night I cooked a delicious meal for some guests primarily using this cookbook. I can vouch for the sweet & hot pork chops, the creamed spinach and the almond butter choco-bites. They were amazing. Unless you're pretty sensitive to spiciness, I highly recommend trying those chops. They come out so juicy and flavorful... probably the best pork chops I've ever made. This book is a fantastic resource.

Fantastic resource for low carbers and ketoers alike!

I'm very pleased to find a book of recipes for meals that range from simple to gourmet style and skip over all the fluffy stuff, and doesn't promise certain carb counts per recipe. I just put the recipe ingredients into MyFitnessPal and it tells me the macros and everything. Thanks again!!
