Made some more fresh salsa the other day, using Shani H’s recipe, naturally 🙂

The last two pics are of the cilantro I use… I always trim the stems a bit and stick them into a small jar with water up to the leaves, then secure a loose plastic bag around the jar with a rubber band and keep it on the tallest shelf in my fridge. The cilantro perks right up and stays nice without wilting for quite awhile. I avoid washing the leaves ’til I want to use them, otherwise, they’d sog right up. What’s your favorite way to store fresh herbs?
