Meet your umamis.
Meet your umamis… I was surprised to see Marmite on this list, but not because I don’t think it’s very umami (from what I’ve hear of it’s reputation, it SOOO is) but because I didn’t think people did much with it, other than slather it on toast.
PS – Is it weird that I wondered if molasses is an umami? Maybe because it’s sweet but also a little salty…hmm.
