Processing food, 1 of 2 – Cleaning/snapping beans, washing/drying lettuce. I typically spend part of Sundays processing food to get it ready to cook with and eat for the coming rest of the week. While it has to be done after I shop anywhere, it’s even more of a fun ritual with new goodies acquired from the farmers markets in summer. Funny, those purplish beans turn green when sauteed 😉 The pale ones were transparent in the evening light.
