Keto Pizza Bagels

Perfect for that pizza craving, I made these quickly with my psmf buns recipe. 

If you’re missing little pizza bagel type snacks, and you’ve already been making & enjoying my PSMF buns, these will be quick and easy to make!

INGREDIENTS

2 PSMF bread buns (recipe here)
2 tablespoons pizza sauce
4-6 Pepperoni slices, cut into quarters
(I used uncured by Boar’s Head or Hormel Natural Choice uncured)
Mozzarella cheese, shredded, about 1/2 cup
dash of dried oregano leaves

DIRECTIONS

Slice 2 PSMF bread buns into halves, and spread pizza sauce onto all halves.

Top with shredded mozzarella, and the pepperoni slices (overlapping is okay, because the toppings will spread as the pizza bagels cook. To make it easy to have little pepperoni quarters, I stack the slices and then cut in half, and then half again.

Optionally, add some grated Parmesan cheese on top, with oregano leaves.

Bake: At 350 F on a baking sheet lined with parchment for 8-10 minutes or until the pizza bagel bases are warm and firm to the touch and the pepperoni is cooked, and the cheese is bubbly and golden brown

Microwave: About 1 minutes or until the pizza bagel bases are warm and firm to the touch and the pepperoni is cooked, and the cheese is bubbly and golden brown. 

Air Fryer: Preheat air fryer for 3 minutes at 330, pop pizza bagels in (best on a sheet of parchment) and cook about 3-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and browned a bit, and the bottom of the pizza bagels are warm and slightly crispy (PSMF bread burns much faster than regular bread, so try 3 minutes first, then check).

Let sit to cool a few minutes before eating.

Makes 1 serving or 2 pizza bagels.
