Something I came up with on the fly yesterday for dinner, sort of like a German took a trip through the Caribbean. Chicken sausage stuffed with fennel seed and tart apples, along with sliced green cabbage and red onion braised in apple cider vinegar and turmeric and spiced with black pepper, nutmeg, whole mustard, and allspice.
Never tried this combo before but I had heard of this kind of flavor profile with chicken and like, chard or other dark greens.

Super-interesting dinner, but did not make for good leftovers, the chicken was grainy and rubbery, the cabbage was just sour and the spice was muddling the dish.
