Typical breakfast: eggs of some kind (egg muffin, omelet, or baked/fritatta/quiche thing–I only like them beaten), with either bacon or sausage. Sometimes avocado or berries, too, depending on whether I save my avocado for taco salad or if I’ve got anything with more carbs in it planned for dinner or lunch (strawberries are allowed, but high carb for me). Today I had both, because all I ate for lunch was salami and kale chips. Dinner will be a bunless burger (salmon or hamburger).
That’s not sugar in the bowl with the strawberry, it’s a plant-derived substitute called erythritol, measures and tastes like sugar (about 70% as sweet) that has no effect on blood glucose or insulin.

Erythritol? I’m checking it out. Thanks for the share. Bobbi Jo Woods
I don’t have high blood or diabetes but I’m always looking to try something that may help stave off. That breakfast looks delicious!
Merry Weathers a low carb, high fat minimal/moderate protein way of life is healthy for just about everyone! At least, it will definitely get you out of any sugar/carb addiction if you feel you have one, even without health problems (which may not happen yet, but could, like you said).
I agree
