Vegetable broth in the slow cooker – I love homemade stocks and broths, they are much cheaper than buying it ready-made, and have almost no sodium, which many store bought brands do have in excess. Since it’s in the crock-pot where it won’t reduce much, and since I threw in a teaspoon of black peppercorns, two sprigs of parsley, and two smashed cloves of garlic, it’s considered broth, not stock.
