Diabetic to Ketogenic: Reclaim Your Health With Real Food

Over 150 Recipes!

A KETOLISH Collection Recipe eBook

A ketogenic dietary protocol is one that basically turns your body from a glucose-burning machine into a fat-burning one, and is not just a way to lose weight, but a therapeutic way to live and resolve and prevent multitudes of health issues.

Diabetic to Ketogenic - Reclaim Your Health with Real Food - recipe eBook

Humans can live (and even thrive) in ketosis by ignoring those old government-suggested dietary standards (which are garbage designed to make us weak and unhealthy) and focusing on eating all animal meat, fish, and eggs, non-starchy vegetables (if desired not required), and by not limiting fats (instead of avoiding fat, as most of us had been taught throughout most of the last century). Natural fat, not weird, man-made industrial soybean/vegetable & canola oils that are toxic and inflammatory.

Because sticking to the ketogenic diet has helped me to manage all of these issues, I honestly can say I’ve never felt this healthy in all of my adult life (I still feel so silly and cliché saying it sometimes, but it’s true!). My only regret? I wish I had found this lifestyle back then – but I try not to have regrets! It’s never too late for any of us to start eating better.

Read my personal story here

Bottom line: Keto is my life now

…and it worked not only to get back to (mostly) baseline health, it is keeping me there without meds or rigorous exercise. And I’m not alone. There are many of us who were severely diabetic that have found revolutionary benefits which the ketogenic lifestyle provides, such as:

 Managing blood glucose levels permanently

 Aiding in increasing insulin sensitivity

 Zapping away fatigue/improving energy

If you’re diabetic or have been diagnosed as pre-diabetic, you may find almost immediate blood sugar improvement. Additionally, many have reported these other benefits after changing to the ketogenic lifestyle.

You KNOW why you’re  here. You’ve either already done some research in to what keto is and isn’t, and are ready to EAT better, but need ideas, or you just feel discouraged to make the effort to cook real food.

Well, you can. Granted, you have to invest a little time initially, to stock your kitchen with good stuff and get rid of the bad stuff, but once you do, you’re more than halfway there!

Helpful for newbies!

Bought this because my spouse is pre-diabetic and we needed to start eating low carb meals. This book is a helpful way for people that don't know much about low carb to make delicious meals with regular ingredients, and introduces you to new things that you might not have used. Like stevia, I had heard of it but never tried it before. It's really not a bad sugar substitute. I would recommend this book for anyone, but especially for people trying to learn how to make food that doesn't spike blood sugars. 🙂

Thank you so much, Rikki, for your objective and helpful feedback. I do hope you and your family enjoy the recipes and feel free to let me know if you ever have questions! -BJW

Lots of noms

I don't follow a ketolish meal plan or eat low carb - there's no need. Still I bought this book because I guessed there would be noms. I was not disappointed. Plenty of noms, presented in a delish an easy too cook way. Would have gotten five stars if there were more fish. Also, living outside USA - Norway to be specific- some ingredients are hard to get or not available at all. Would be great if alternative ingredients were presented! Example- Colby cheese...

Petter, thank you so much for your support and feedback. We do indeed have Colby cheese in the states (it's one of my favorites!) That said, most of the recipes in the book calling for cheese are wonderful no matter what kind of cheese you prefer to use. I say, don't be afraid to experiment! Sorry about small amount of seafood recipes, I simply don't eat much of it besides salmon, tuna, and crab. You would have loved my grandpa, who really enjoyed pickled herring! Cheers, B.J.W.

Delicious!

Last night I cooked a delicious meal for some guests primarily using this cookbook. I can vouch for the sweet & hot pork chops, the creamed spinach and the almond butter choco-bites. They were amazing. Unless you're pretty sensitive to spiciness, I highly recommend trying those chops. They come out so juicy and flavorful... probably the best pork chops I've ever made. This book is a fantastic resource.

Fantastic resource for low carbers and ketoers alike!

I'm very pleased to find a book of recipes for meals that range from simple to gourmet style and skip over all the fluffy stuff, and doesn't promise certain carb counts per recipe. I just put the recipe ingredients into MyFitnessPal and it tells me the macros and everything. Thanks again!!
