Keto cheesy garlic toast is a quick & easy craving-buster that’s really close to the real thing!

I’ve been keto since 2016 and I had not even once attempted to make any kind of low carb or keto garlic bread, so this keto cheesy garlic toast being my first attempt, I’d say it’s pretty fantastic.

INGREDIENTS

4-6 slices of my keto egg white SMF PSMF bread r9lls recipe (double batch of the rolls makes 1 loaf bread)
Shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, to taste (about 20 grams per slice)
4-6 teaspoons butter, softened
Chopped parsley & garlic salt to taste

DIRECTIONS

Oven: Place foil or parchment onto a baking tray and heat the oven to BROIL (500 F). Spread the butter on each slice (top side), then sprinkle the cheeses, parsley, and garlic salt on each slice, to taste. Place the tray into the oven and broil for 5-8 minutes (this will vary depending on how thick your bread was sliced and how much toppings you added to each slice), checking for doneness about halfway through. The toasts should be a bit dark around the edges and the cheese bubbly and starting to brown.

Air fryer: Place plain bread slices onto the nonstick tray in your air fryer and cook at 330 for 3 minutes on each side. Using tongs, retrieve toast slices from the air fryer and lay on a piece of parchment cut to fit your air fryer’s tray. Spread the butter on each slice while still hot (one side), then sprinkle the cheeses, parsley, and garlic salt on each slice, to taste. Place your tray of prepared toast slices back into the air fryer and cook at 350 for 3-4 minutes,  checking for doneness about halfway through. The toasts should be a bit dark around the edges and the cheese bubbly and starting to brown.
