Ingredients

Beef, kosher salt, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, cayenne red pepper, natural hickory smoke, water, paprika, garlic powder, Allulose (from figs), blackstrap molasses.

What is Allulose?

Allulose is a naturally-occurring sugar in found in figs and kiwi fruit, that cooks/bakes, caramelizes and preserves like sugar, but does not raise blood glucose levels like sugar does. It is also about 1/3 less sweet. Allulose in this recipe is used with a few drops of pure molasses to create a combination that mimics brown sugar (non-diabetics would not know the difference, but it is safer for diabetics).

If you are wary of this ingredient, I can just leave it out and leave in the molasses. However, your product will not be as soft and chewy, it will be more dried in texture. Please do let me know your preference by including it in the notes on your order.
